Remembrance Day 

'At the 11th hour, on the 11th day of the 11th month' in 1918, World War I officially ended. To commemorate the end of five brutal years of conflict, individuals were encouraged to take a minute's silence on the 11th to remember and honor the lives lost. A tradition that still continues today. As part of this tradition, HISTORY has scheduled a Remembrance Day line-up to be running all day on November 11. Read more...
