Remote working locations ranked Ownerly's list of the top 25 US cities for remote work prominently features small cities, the Midwest and Northeast. Meanwhile, the West Coast does not appear to be as ideal. The city of Philadelphia will put its indoor face mask mandate back in place next week in light of recent COVID-19 case increases. It's the first large US city to make the move this spring, and health commissioner Cheryl Bettigole said that if Philadelphia were not to reinstate the rule, "knowing that every previous wave of infections has been followed by a wave of hospitalizations, and then a wave of deaths, then it will be too late for many of our residents." The woman later met a different MIT neuroscientist, Evelina Fedorenko, who discovered that with the chunk of the left temporal lobe missing, the right hemisphere of her brain took over language processing tasks.
