While there is no one-answer-fits-all for this, there are certain photographs that sell better than others. And there are reasons why.
Here is a unique 90-minute seminar that's a deep dive specifically into contemporary/emerging photographers and works produced in the recent past. And most of the conversation will regard online sales from this year, as that is the certain growth area for these photographers. Seminar is led by Daniel Miller, founder of the popular collector site www.yourdailyphotograph.com.
Whether you are a photographer, a collector, or thinking of collecting, this seminar will be a guide to help you assess the current market. And current trends will be discussed, including the collapse of the NFT market, and the latest with AI imagery.
We'll present 30 recent photographs sold online and analyze the elements of each photograph: Content, price, size, edition, print type, color used, process and more. Various sales channels will be discussed. Artist's online persona are having an increased influence, which will be explained.
The seminar will be face-paced, no fluff, and a hybrid of in-person and online. We still have a few chairs available for people who will be in LA at that time who'd like to attend in-person (This will be by invite). Or participate from your home via Zoom.
