| NHL bans LGBT 'Pride Tape' on hockey sticks | | The National Hockey League has issued guidance restricting players from putting rainbow-colored tape on their hockey sticks in honor of the LGBT community. The league shared its new rules for supporting any special initiatives via a memo last week. The company Pride Tape pushed back against the memo, stating it hopes the league "will again show commitment to this important symbol of combating homophobia."
