Registration for our ATF party is now open! Join us as we thumb our noses at the nanny state and exercise our rights to Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (but not in that order because of our General Counsel, Shayne Madsen, who we often refer to as “No Fun Shayne”). Please look under the “Events” section of this newsletter to register. We hope to see you there.
In this week’s newsletter, Kathleen shares the latest date of her popular class, Citizen’s Guide to Civic Involvement. Nash updates readers on fiscal budgetary changes. Lastly, Rob shares a piece from TownHall on former President Biden’s disastrous Special Counsel testimony. |

Are you ready to stop complaining and start doing something that actually makes a difference? The Citizen’s Guide to Civic Involvement workshop is your chance to get off the sidelines and into the game. This practical, no-nonsense class will show you exactly how and where you can make an impact in your own backyard—because taking back your country starts with taking back your community. We’ll break down the importance of activism, explain why your involvement matters, and give you the tools to get appointed to one of the thousands of boards or commissions across Colorado’s 4,000-plus local governments. Believe it or not, just a few hours of your time can help rein in government overreach and defend the liberty we all value. Join us online on June 19, 2025, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Cost is just $15, and the zoom link will be sent upon registration. To register, look under the events section of this newsletter. I hope to see you there. -Kathleen Chandler, Director, Citizen Involvement Project |

Devil's Advocate with Jon Caldara is a current events show not to be missed. Each week it features lively - and sometimes heated - debates between elected officials, journalists, activists, concerned citizens, subject-matter experts, and hard-pressing host Jon Caldara, president of the Independence Institute. Jon is not afraid to express his "free-market" views, and his guests are not afraid to take on those opinions. It all makes for an informative, lively public affairs program. |
