Matthew Perry, 54, died at his Los Angeles home in October from the 'acute effects' of ketamine, according to a post-mortem examination. Now, 10 months later, Jasveen Sangha and four others have been charged in connection with his death.

What has Jasveen Sangha been accused of?

Jasveen Sangha, dubbed the 'Ketamine Queen' by US prosecutors, is one of five people who US officials say supplied ketamine to Friends star Matthew Perry. She faces nine charges, including conspiracy to distribute ketamine and distribution of ketamine resulting in death. She pleaded not guilty to the charges on Thursday.

What else do we know about Ms Sangha?

She is an American-British dual-national who prosecutors say was using her North Hollywood home as a 'drug-selling emporium'. Ms Sangha is said to have mixed with celebrities socially, with one of her friends telling the Daily Mail she attended the Golden Globes and the Oscars.

What if she is found guilty?

If convicted of all charges in Perry's case, Ms Sangha would face a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in federal prison and a statutory maximum sentence of life imprisonment, according to the justice department.
