My AMEX always gets turned away at local coffee shops & other small businesses. Even when I was on holiday in Nevada! My Amex got turned away at multiple tourist locations, & at a local coffee shop there; I was charged a 8% cc fee! It’s ridiculous!!

Most people don’t realize but merchants typically set their prices 3-5% higher to cover the merchant services fees, so directly or indirectly it effects all of us.
