Stalled: The city’s street construction program has been, to put it gently, a bit of a tangle. It’s a massive undertaking - $2 billion worth of work – so some snags are inevitable, right? Breakfast with the Saints: The Saints are in London this week, preparing for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m., London time – which means it’ll be 8:30 a.m. our time. Columnist Rod Walker says the team that is best able to adjust to the time difference will have a big advantage. And here’s some Saints news from across the pond: starting QB Jameis Winston missed a second consecutive day of practice as he deals with some injuries. Want more Saints coverage? Gumbo weather: Maybe it's not quite time for the jackets, but this little tease of gorgeous fall weather is just the thing to get folks thinking about gumbo. As our resident dining writer Ian McNulty says, "The weather doesn't have to be 'cold,' exactly; it just needs to bring a whisper of seasonal change and suddenly gumbo is on our minds."
