Monday, 14 February Webinar: The role of sexual pleasure in sexual and reproductive health and rights A new review from WHO and the Pleasure Project shows that sexual health programmes that consider sexual desire and sexual pleasure, not only risk of disease, can better improve knowledge and attitudes around sex – as well as safer sex practices such as condom use. Timed for Valentine’s Day, a special technical webinar will present these findings in more detail and spotlight effective interventions and key learnings from the review. Register here. Tuesday, 15 February Summary brief on recommendations for COVID-19 vaccination in pregnancy WHO will publish a new brief on COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy, based on recent interim recommendations from the Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (SAGE) for vaccines approved under WHO’s Emergency Use Listing (EUL) as of 31 January 2022. Note, this brief does not update current SAGE recommendations, but rather aims to provide one accessible source of reference on COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy. More about SAGE.
