| Every apocalypse needs its own theme song | Stuck at home with her baby and her partner, writer and producer Belinda Lopez has become obsessed with playing one song, over and over again. It’s called Cielito Lindo. “My partner gives me the look that I now know means I've played the original Mexican mariachi band version too many times in a row,” she says. “When you're in isolation, you have to be respectful of the people you're living with. “So I find remixes of Cielito Lindo to play instead: the opera version, the reggae version, Cielito Lindo the electronica banger.” In her contribution to Corona Tales, a new series from Radio National Fictions, Belinda talks about finding happiness in her "apocalypse song”. It’s Anzac Day, and though the commemorations look a bit different to other years, it’s still an important time to look back on Australia’s wartime history. This week’s History Listen sheds light on the complex topic of conscription through the letters and diaries of one Australian woman whose family went off to war. And if you’re missing the arts like we are, check out ABC Arts’ guide to what you can experience online: from an Instagram music festival to experimental film, chamber opera and more.
