“All life is a movement in relationship. There is no living thing on earth which is not related to something or other... In that relationship, which is the mirror in which we can see ourselves, we can discover what we are, our reactions, our prejudices, our fears, depression, anxieties, loneliness, sorrow, pain, grief. We can also discover whether we love, or whether there is no such thing as love. So, we will examine this question of relationship because that is the basis of love.”
– J. Krishnamurti
Dear Friends,
Krishnamurti proposes an inquiry into the root causes of the disorder that human beings live in: to go deeply into why having order within ourselves and our relationships is necessary. He says we aren’t separate from society—we create society, we are society. Krishnamurti also points out that we may not see the implications of the division and disorder we live in. These challenging times remind us of the costs of living in disorder.
While the world recovers from these unprecedented times, the KFA continues to develop ways to encourage exploration through dialogue, relationship, nature, books, deep inquiry, rigorous study of the teachings, gatherings, and silence. Our efforts aren’t limited to maintaining the centers, as we also provide online spaces that make this exploration possible to the global community via online programs, livestream radio events, publications, and social media.
The self-understanding and insights that Krishnamurti’s teachings inspire have the potential to transform the world in which we live, disentangle humanity from disorder, and make a more harmonious and loving world possible. Every single one of us contributes to this possibility.
Being a nonprofit charity, the Foundation relies on financial support. Without your help, we wouldn’t be able to continue to preserve and disseminate the teachings. Whether you’re an established supporter, first-time donor, or new to this body of work, your financial contribution will allow us to further Krishnamurti’s vision of a world in which humankind is unconditionally free.
