Why Sold Out?!
I get this question almost everyday.
.
Why do we have so many listings that say “Sold Out”.
.
There is more than one answer to that question.
.
First, we have been selling a LOT of vintage treasures on our eBay Store lately
.
Secondly, when we create a product page, Google indexes that page and it becomes valuable online real estate. So even if an item is sold out, someone will find that page online. Someone that otherwise would never find our website.
.
Third, when someone is searching for a specific vintage treasure, and that item is sold out, that person will often ask us to contact them if we ever find another.
.
Case in point: This week, we will list in our eBay store, our Very RARE coveted “Superman Meets the Mole Men” 1951 Original Half Sheet movie poster featuring spectacular art of George Reeves. There is no doubt that Rare poster will sell FAST on eBay. So, when we mark it Sold Out on our website, we will get requests to notify IF we ever find another (which unfortunately we probably Never will).

And as a result acquire some great new customers!

BTW, to bypass all the Sold Out items, click the SORT Drop Down meu at top of category and select option HIGH TO LOW PRICES, and all the Sold Out items will get pushed to bottom
