This might be the most important event we’ve ever hosted… No Images? Click here Dear friend, Over the past several weeks, the SBC has taken major steps to confront the abuse crisis. But our work is not done. We must continue to combat this crisis and ensure that every church is safe for survivors and safe from abuse. This week, I’ve been working with our team to finalize plans for our Caring Well Conference in Dallas, TX on October 3-5. This conference will be a major milestone in our work to combat the abuse crisis. Here are three reasons why you should join us at the Caring Well Conference: The Caring Well Conference is practical. This conference will feature abuse survivors like Rachael Dehollander, Beth Moore, and Susan Codone; experts on abuse issues like Mary DeMuth, Brad Hambrick, and Diane Langberg; and important voices like Russell Moore, JD Greear, and Gary Haugen. Every part of this conference is designed to give you practical, hands-on training in how to make your church safe for survivors and safe from abuse. Through keynotes, breakout sessions, and panel discussions, you’ll be equipped with the tools you need to confront abuse and defend the vulnerable in your church and community. The Caring Well Conference is timely. It’s no secret that the American church is facing an abuse crisis. This is a defining moment, and how we respond is critically important to our Gospel message and witness. Words are not enough - we must do whatever it takes to make our churches safe from abuse and safe for survivors. The Caring Well Conference is affordable. We don't want finances to be a barrier to someone attending. That's why we are offering a steeply discounted launch rate for this event, with special pricing for bivocational pastors, small church pastors, church planters and students. We are also strongly encouraging churches to bring a team of people who will be helping to lead the Caring Well Challenge at their church. Bringing a group is the best way to get our very best pricing for this event. Our best rate for all tickets expires at midnight Thursday, so don’t wait! The Caring Well Conference may be one of the most important events we’ve ever hosted. We would love for you to bring a team from your church to be equipped through this conference. I hope you’ll join me in Dallas this October as we seek to care well for survivors and protect against abuse. Sincerely, Phillip Bethancourt, Executive Vice President P.S.
