Exaggerated exhales. Breathing properly, especially when your body is in an elevated state of stress, is a rudimentary yet highly effective form of control. Oftentimes when we feel anxious and stressed, it’s because we feel OUT of control. Taking little steps to let your body know that you’re the one in charge has always been highly effective for me. |
