A preliminary presentation by an architecture firm includes renderings that show signage with the name Our Lady of the Lake Arena. A spokesperson for OLOL says the hospital has pursued a deal to have its name attached to the building, although no deal has been reached. LSU Athletics spokesperson Zach Greenwell would not confirm whether OLOL bought the naming rights. Of course, the arena actually has to be built before any of that could become reality. That eventuality took a hit this week when the CEO of the finalist to develop the arena was indicted on federal charges that he rigged the bidding process for an arena at the University of Texas at Austin.
