Salesforce set a high bar when announcing Agentforce, the generative AI bots it says can be trusted to act on their own. CEO Marc Benioff said they have the lowest hallucination rate, can reason their way through interactions and be customized by just about anyone. Those are the major AI pain points and sources of disappointment. So people will be watching very, very closely to see if the company delivers. I’m not dumb enough to bet against Salesforce, but I’m also glad it’s not my reputation on the line. While we usually and happily stay away from politics, today Editor Chris Wood looks at what brands can learn from the political playbook. He also discusses the impact of Taylor Swift’s endorsement and, while it’s not clickbait, like all marketers we would love it if some Swiftie magic rubbed off on us. Finally, it’s less than two weeks until The MarTech Conference — our free, virtual two-day marketing confab. Find out more by checking out the agenda and list of speakers.
