We’re sure you understand so much and really care about what cancer patients go through.

The shock of the diagnosis. The fear of ‘what now’? Surgery. And then the follow up treatments which include chemotherapy and radiation.

It’s hard enough when everything can happen right where you live. But for many patients in outlying areas, they have to leave the familiarity and comfort of home and go to an unknown place to receive the medical help needed.

The very thought is stressful and daunting – until these patients discover and experience the Care Homes that friends like you help to provide with your donations.

A cancer patient confides, “When I came here I was broken and terrified about what lay ahead. Slowly I was given back my self-confidence and determination to get well.”

But then came COVID-19, with cancer patients being amongst the most vulnerable in infection risk. Requirements to keep everyone safe has added hugely to the daily budget of the homes.
