Congratulations to Ed Ayres | A tribute to Nigel Butterley
| | In this special concert event, hear William Barton perform the world premiere of brand new music by Deborah Cheetham, live on ABC Classic at 7:30pm, Saturday 26 February. The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra welcomes 2022 and their new Chief Conductor Jaime Martín, who invited Cheetham to write a new piece for his opening concert on the theme of morning. Her new work, Baparripna is Yorta Yorta for dawn, and is the first time Cheetham and Barton have worked together. You can also get to know MSO's new Chief Conductor with Mairi Nicolson on Legends, and hear Margaret Throsby's 2004 interview with William Barton. |
