A Message From the Editor

Good morning. Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr, commonly known as WilmerHale, is the latest law firm to be targeted by U.S. President Donald Trump, who has issued an Executive Order restricting firm employees from access to government buildings, suspending their security clearances, terminating their federal government contracts, and pledging to review firm DEI practices. Wilmer responded by stating, "We look forward to pursuing all appropriate remedies to this unlawful order." Meanwhile, law firms even outside the U.S. are now leery of having any official DEI policies. Also, in other news, Quinn Emanuel posted double-digit growth in revenue and profits for a second consecutive year.

– Lisa Shuchman, Executive Editor
