After a hiatus of over a decade, PokerStars’ North American Poker Tour returned last fall with a huge series at Resorts World Las Vegas. The 17-event festival drew just shy of 3,200 entries, with more than $4.2 million in prize money awarded. The 2024 NAPT Las Vegas series is slated for Nov. 1-10, and organizers recently announced a variety of paths for players to win their way to the Resorts World with a Gold Pass.

This year the main event will feature a $5,300 buy-in, up from $1,650 in 2023. The Gold Pass, valued at $10,000, will include a seat in the main event, along with $2,900 hotel accommodation and $1,800 for expenses, such as travel and other costs.

Players can start their journey to Las Vegas with a $0.50 Step 1 ticket, which will awarded just for logging into the PokerStars client. According to the press release, “These Step 1 tickets can be used to enter tournaments, progressively parlaying smaller wins into larger prizes, ultimately leading up to a Gold Pass. Along the way, players can also win Silver Passes, which are redeemable for entry into NAPT Regional events and bi-weekly $1K NAPT satellites.”

Two NAPT Regional events have been revealed so far. The first will take place at Maryland Live! from July 31-Aug. 4. The second is set for Aug. 22- Sept. 8 at Philly Live! Both will feature $600 buy-ins, with Silver Passes redeemable for a seat.

The winner of each NAPT Regional main event will secure a Gold Pass to Las Vegas in addition to their prize money.

The Summer Stacks online tournament series, running on PokerStars from June 14- July 1, will also award a Gold Pass to each main event winner.

The casino floor features 1,400 slot machines, 117 table games, and of course, the poker room.

In addition to gaming, the property offers plenty of other world-class entertainment options, with the 5,000-person Resorts World Theater, the Zouk Nightclub, and the Ayu Beach House. There are also more than 50 dining and drinking establishments on site.
