Grateful to our community and hopeful for the New Year
|
| Dear John, This holiday season I am grateful for you and everyone in our community. 2021 had many moments of hope and excitement. There were also moments of frustration, confusion and heartbreak. Your strong and steady support helped us through. Your support helped KQED make sense of a changing world for our community members. Our journalists delivered critical and lifesaving information — amidst a pandemic, vaccine roll-outs, calls for social justice and raging wildfires. And through it all we uplifted the voices whose stories often go untold. We provided fact-checked information and profiles of candidates so you could feel informed during the recall election. And our arts and culture team showcased local creatives making inspiring art. We couldn’t have done it without you.

As we look forward to new beginnings in 2022, we are grateful and fortunate to continue serving the Bay Area. Thank you for being part of this civically engaged and culturally vibrant community. On behalf of everyone at KQED, I wish you and your loved ones a warm and joyous holiday season and a happy New Year.
