| | | | Quantumania It's Wednesday, Baltimore, and you made it! Here's hoping you're all doing well at the end of November. The title of this newsletter reflects two things: 1) I recently saw the trailer for the third "Ant-Man and the Wasp" movie, and 2) I'm spending some time this week in DC for the Quantum World Congress. If you haven't followed DC lead reporter Michaela Althouse's coverage, this is the first convening of its kind that brought quantum scholars, founders and investors from all over the world to the nation's capital. That surrounding region boasts entities like Connected DMV (the conference's main organizer), the University of Maryland's QuICS and IonQ at the forefront of quantum tech innovation. It's a fascinating gathering, but other than one UMBC physics grad student, I've yet to meet anybody with a Baltimore connection.
