PEORIA - Close to 100 soldiers with a Bartonville-based Illinois Army National Guard unit will head to Afghanistan as part of the largest mobilization of the guard since 2009.According to the National Guard bureau in Springfield, members of Company A, 1st Battalion of the 178th Infantry Regiment are slated to join three other companies that comprise that first battalion for yearlong deployment to Afghanistan.

The fact that the Squad, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, are being spoiled by the Democrats, is a sad indictment of their party.
