GLOBAL: On March 25, virtual events provider Hopin will gather over 10,000 event and marketing professionals for Hybrid Events: Unlocked, a digital conference on all things hybrid. Brands including Drift, TechCrunch and Gong will discuss how digital technology is reshaping the event industry and how to realize the full potential of hybrid events. RSVP here. NATIONAL: Organizers of the 93rd Academy Awards have revealed more details for the April 25 event, taking place at Union Station and the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Only nominees, their guests and the presenters will be able to attend the ceremony in person, and all in-person events surrounding the show—including the Oscars Nominees Luncheon and the Governors Ball after-party—have been canceled. ATLANTA: The Atlanta Science Festival is currently taking place through March 27. It features more than 80 virtual, self-guided and outdoor events to celebrate the world of STEM and help people learn about career opportunities in the field in the greater Atlanta area. The event was founded by Emory University, Georgia Tech and the Metro Atlanta Chamber. ATLANTIC CITY, NJ: Atlantic City is hosting the annual Beer and Music Festival from June 4-5. The event aims to promote and educate attendees on craft beer and the brewmasters that create them, and it also includes a variety of food from local restaurants as well as culinary demonstrations, educational seminars, sideshow acts and other activities. PHILADELPHIA: The Philadelphia Flower Show will take place June 5-6. The show will be held at Philadelphia's FDR Park, a change from the usual location in order to follow COVID-19 protocol.
