This program will support biomedical research capacity building at resource-limited institutions, with the goal of broadening the pool of faculty conducting biomedical research and the organizational settings where research funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is performed.  February 5, 2025, is the next application due date for Research Opportunities for New and âAt-Riskâ Investigators to Promote Workforce Diversity (R01 Clinical Trial Optional) (PAS-25-190). The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health is participating in this funding opportunity. If youâre preparing an application, make sure youâre following the instructions in the recently reissued notice of funding opportunity (NOFO), PAS-25-190. The previous NOFO, PAR-22-181, expired early.  The NIH Helping to End Addiction Long-term® Initiative, or NIH HEAL Initiative®, will hold a virtual workshop, âDeveloping HEAL Pain Strategic Research Priorities: Health Equity and Pain Across the Life Course,â on Friday, December 6 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. ET.
