With resolution season nearly upon us, what would you resolve for your own wellness, and, in turn, for that of your employee base? While this annual tradition may seem like a joke to some, especially with so many casting their resolutions to the wayside by February, it can serve as an interesting prompt. Today's Top Reads include predictions for 2022, and the Stat of the Week puts numbers to the rise in burnout. These could serve as fodder for those annual resolutions. Remember, it's not about the resolution itself, but the action that follows. Be well! –Kacey Larsen, Workplace Wellness Insider Editor

STAT OF THE WEEK

The 2021 Women in the Workplace report, compiled by Lean In and McKinsey & Company, focuses on the impact of COVID-19 and the growing emphasis on DE&I on women's workplace experiences and the larger state of work. In the past year of the pandemic, both men and women have experienced greater burnout, but 1 in 3 women, the findings show, have considered leaving the workforce or downshifting their careers.

The full report shows where these leaders align and differ.
