|
| | Fannie Mae’s latest monthly survey found 85% of U.S. consumers said it was a “bad time” to purchase a home in the month of October — the highest share since Fannie Mae began the survey. Only 37% believe it’s a “bad time” to sell a home, according to the survey. Are home prices going to come down? Tight housing inventory has been keeping home prices high, but monthly gains have been slowing as affordability issues increasingly weigh on buyers. There are already signs of the housing market weakening and a growing number of sellers cutting prices heading into the final months of the year. |

| Gov. Spencer Cox is convinced Utah, and other Western states, can set an example for the country on how to tackle the mental health crisis. Utah, along with New Mexico, Montana, Colorado and other states in the Mountain West, make up what demographers call the “suicide belt,” Cox said. This area has historically suffered from higher rates of depression and suicide, which research has suggested may be connected to the higher altitude. Cox says solutions to the problem lie “further upstream” than health care infrastructure. “We have too many people going to a psychiatrist who don’t need a psychiatrist,” Cox said. “They need a friend, a mentor.” Read more about Gov. There is a hope that with time, some of the issues on the court will be resolved with more familiarity and a better understanding of the team’s defensive philosophies and schemes. Jazz Head Coach Will Hardy said, “it’s hard. There’s part of it that’s like, who’s gonna talk? With a new group, who is the leader? Who are we looking at? And sometimes everybody’s just kind of looking at each other like, ‘Are you gonna say it or am I gonna say it?’ There’s a flow to all that in a game and we’re obviously still working through it.” Read more about the two reasons behind the problems facing the Jazz.
