The Most Beautiful Bugatti

Bizarre and elusive, the late 1930s Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic is largely considered to be one of the most beautiful automotive designs in history… and perhaps even the first supercar ever! Its iconic teardrop shape, dramatic fender flares and unique details like the split fin down the middle inspired this modern take on the Atlantic. Its a stunning hybrid of old and new with a modern Bugatti front half and classic rear. Our mouths are watering to see more!

Bloop! (There It Is)

Meet, Bloop… a coffee table that looks just like it sounds! Like a wooden water droplet frozen in time, this sculptural design is characterized by fluid transitions between interconnected parts, with soft-rounded edges, and refined details.

Crafted from solid wood, Bloop’s unusual form gives it a new, surprising and sophisticated balance point. The upward-rounded edges of both its base and top appear to float and flow between its thin leg which gives it a sense of lightness despite being quite sturdy.

“Bloop’s unconventional form was created by shifting the axis of rotation of its base, leg and top – thus defining the table’s proportions, and giving it a new balance point,” says design studio Regular Company.

“The organic joint between the leg and the tabletop reinforces its stability, a design that allows only one slim, vertical element.”

Reincarnation by design

For people who’ve lost a pet, it can be a difficult phase to get through. Especially explaining it to children can be extremely difficult and heart-rending. Reborn doesn’t make the grief go away, but helps gain closure, and transition the love from pet, to plant. Reborn is an egg that contains soil, a seedling, and the departed pet’s ashes wrapped within a porous, fragile shell. The shell is placed in the soil and in no time, the seedling hatches out of it, becoming a reincarnated embodiment of the deceased pet’s spirit.

An unusual and wonderful way to help children come to terms with the death of a pet, and gracefully teach them about life after death.
