Get ‘Hooked’ on these Animal Hangers! Posted: 28 Aug 2017 10:55 AM PDT UPDATE: less than 72 hours left on their campaign! Don’t worry, these animals won’t bite! Well, actually, they will… but that’s why they’re so incredibly useful. AniBite turns nature’s fiercest predators into adorably innovative multi-purpose clips that grip and hold everything from stationery, to EDC, to toiletries. Designed to replace hooks, hangers, and stands with something more quirky and characteristic, AniBite’s series of one-touch clips can be placed anywhere and can hold pretty much anything. Made in three variants, a bear, a leopard, and a wolf (or as I call it, direwolf), the AniBite can hold up to 300 grams (almost 9 times its weight). Just lift the head back and place your item between the jaws before pushing the head down again. AniBites can hold your toothbrush (in both vertical and horizontal ways), razor, or even stationery on your desk. Use it as an innovative spectacle-holder beside your bed, or even for your keys right near the door… or push your creative limits and have these animals manage your cables for you! The AniBite is made from sanitary and non-toxic plastics like PETG and PCTG, and comes with a PU Gel adhesion surface on the back that can attach to pretty much any flat (or even mildly textured) surface without leaving any marks. When the adhesion goes weak, all you have to do is clean the back with water and it’s good as new! The design is practical and child-friendly with blunted teeth that won’t pierce or poke. Ideal for the nature lover as well as the design lover, these little multi-purpose hang-clips are utilitarian, eye-catching, and go right into our hall of quirky fame! Why hang real animal heads on your wall when you could have these functional, adorable miniatures instead? Designer: Xivestory Design BUY NOW: $15.00 $18.00 BUY NOW: $15.00 $18.00 |

Even if you’re in an old beater, you can now monitor your speed or navigation all without taking your eyes off the road! Designer: Aleksandr Sukhikh |
A french press for filtered water Posted: 28 Aug 2017 06:23 AM PDT How does a coffee press work? A sieve/mesh pushes through the murky liquid to collect the grounds on one side, and leave brewed coffee on the other side. The Grayl Ultralight bottle does the same thing too, but with a much more advanced mesh filter… and it doesn’t prepare coffee, it purifies water. Giving you a bottle-full of pure, drinkable water in just 15 seconds, the Grayl is a heaven-sent for not just outdoors, but for international travel too. The Grayl Ultralight’s filter is designed to remove 99.999% of bacteria, viruses, and protozoan cysts from your water, while even filtering out fine particles, and heavy metals with just a simple push of the filter, not just making your water healthy, but taste refreshing too. The Grayl Ultralight comes built with two compartments, a frosted outer tumbler (great to grip while also giving you the illusion of chilled water), which you can fill with anything from river water, to rainwater, to even regular tap water, and an inner tumbler with a proprietary filter attached to its base. The Grayl Ultralight even comes with its own handy air-tight lid so you can carry that water around with you, whether it’s out in the wild, or even in an unknown city/country! Heaven-sent Lighting for New Moms Posted: 28 Aug 2017 04:05 AM PDT You never know when baby’s hunger will strike… but if it’s at night, you’ll always be prepared with the Angel Ring. It’s illumination you can wear! This halo-shaped lamp was designed with new moms in mind, providing light and a convenient way to test the temperature of breastmilk. Just slide it off the charging stand onto your arm to keep your hands free and your immediate area well lit. If you’re bottle feeding, drop a little milk on the integrated thermometer for an instantaneous temperature reading. Designer: Gwang-hee Jo |
Autonomous Food Trucks of the Future Posted: 28 Aug 2017 12:30 AM PDT This far-out food truck concept is a fresh take on everyone’s favorite mobile culinary craze! It’s all about autonomy and designed around Pizza Huts’ conceptual UI. Customers can actually enter the food trucks and witness their food being prepared robotically in a safe, sanitary enclosure. To create their perfect pizza, they use a gestural interface to literally swipe ingredients on to their creation with help from an on-board “barista” who guides them through the process. When they’re finished, out pops a piping hot pie! Designers: Cody Moore, Jordan Jones, Yulin Liu, Aditi Vyas, Tom Rouine & Fernando Zeledon |
