The Great Backyard Bird Count
The Great Backyard Bird Count is an online citizen-science project to collect data on wild birds which contributes to our understanding of bird distribution and helps scientists see changes over the past 21 years. The next world-wide count will be February 16-19, 2018, but we're preparing with a special program on Thursday, February 8, at 6:30pm. Learn how to participate and how to make your own backyard safer and more bird friendly. We're excited to partner with the Frankfort Audubon Society for this program!

New! Yoga programs
We're excited to be working with two instructors to bring yoga to the library! Grace Rogers will teach a Yoga for Beginners (February filled up quickly! Check out the March dates), and Karen Smither will teach Beginner Yoga for Seniors on Fridays, February 2 & 16 and March 2 & 16. Karen will lead seniors in chair hatha yoga with modifications for an easy and light workout. Yoga is wonderful for relaxation and flexibility. Hope you can join us for one (or more!) of these sessions! Registration is required for each session.
