These are uncertain times. Each of us has a concern for our health and the well being and safety of our families. We also have an economic concern. The business environment has changed and we need to adjust in order to keep up. 

Each day when we turn on the news we are bombarded with negative information. Stories of health and economic calamity are the norm and they increase our anxiety. As much as we'd like to tune this out, we need some information to make day-to-day decisions. 

These factors, combined with the need to limit in-person social interaction, create a sense of isolation among independent professionals. This is one of the most insidious ways the pandemic has impacted us. It has put each of us on an island.
