“I don’t know why I’m depressed,” said the overweight, CNN-watching, phone-scrolling man while eating a Big Mac washed down with a jack & coke.
Now, I realize that’s a somewhat facetious way to start an email…
But I paint that picture for you to make a very important point:
“Success is often more about what you need to STOP doing than what you need to START.”
It’s hard to be successful if you consume junk all day – Nutritionally & Informationally.
My friend Joe Polish equates the Entrepreneur to a Million-Dollar Racehorse.
You’d never feed a racehorse alcohol, junk food, cigarettes, or weed…
So why would YOU do that to yourself?
Health is a big leverage point for the entrepreneur.
Healthy, fit entrepreneurs are positive, energetic, and optimistic.
They are resilient, relentless, and easier to recharge than someone that is overweight & overwhelmed.
If your vices are food and alcohol…
And it’s causing you to be overweight and under-energized…
Just think about how much this could be holding you back.
From hitting snooze to self-medicating with booze…
Bookending your day with bad habits is simply not a part of a good daily routine.
This has to change.
Why wait for January 1st when you could start right now?
When you start building momentum today to really light up the second half of 2025…
You’ll have more energy…
More confidence…
And you’ll almost definitely have more WINS. The good news is, building better habits is a LOT easier than you think.
No one says you have to quit drinking for life…
But what if you replaced half the alcohol you currently consume with non-alcoholic beer / wine, or “mocktails”? (0% Coronas and Heinekens taste almost like the real thing)
No one says you have to start running ultra-marathons…
But what if you started doing two 15-minute walks per day?
No one says you have to join the “5am Club”...
But what if you just got up 15 minutes earlier and committed to stop hitting snooze?
The most important aspect of habit change is improvement.
We don’t need perfection right out of the gate.
So take action now…
Get momentum and motivation on your side, shed the 5-figure habits…
Start shifting towards the habits, actions, and behaviors of a 7-figure earner…
And you can become a high-performance machine before the end of the year.
Time to go Next Level.
