We've had an exciting few weeks with new product launches. Last week we introduced Explore, a smart new Saturday travel section that we hope will provide inspiration for readers dreaming of their next big trip. Earlier this week we published Defence Review, a comprehensive analysis of defence issues.
And now I'm very pleased to be introducing you to Desire magazine, another newcomer to The Canberra Times family. On Wednesday next week our first edition will land, appropriately with a fine-looking red chopper on the cover.
Desire is a celebration of some of the best things money can buy in Canberra. From fine dining to luxury escapes, and from drop-dead gorgeous homes to high-end motoring, Desire is where you can find those once-in-a-while or maybe once-in-a-lifetime splurges.
It will introduce some of Canberra's most exciting opportunities for indulgence and the people behind them - like helicopter pilot Steve Jones, who can take you to the coast for lunch to mark that very special occasion, or Brian Tunks, founder of Bison Home (my go-to spot for birthdays, anniversaries and anything-else shopping). Our team had fun producing the first edition of Desire. I hope it helps you to discover some things you want (even if they're not things you really need). Isn't that what having desires is all about?
