| Born in Kattowitz, Poland, Roman moved to Düsseldorf in the 90s where he studied Graphic Arts and discovered a passion for woodcuts. We have been representing Roman in the UK for a number of years and are delighted to be bringing a solo show of his beautifully bold and colourful woodcuts - spanning more than a decade - to Brighton this spring. |

| Roman's style has been described as a ‘bizarre balancing act between propaganda, folklore and pop’. Evolving from prolific doodles, his compositions are transferred to wood blocks from which he prints using the ‘lost cut’ technique.
