*Privacy Not Included Holiday Buyer's Guide

The holiday shopping season is here! And with it, we're proud to launch our 2021 *Privacy Not Included holiday buyer's guide. It has all you need to help you, your friends and family shop safe for all those connected products on the shelves and online. Your *Privacy Not Included team spent the past couple of months researching over 150 connected products like fitness trackers, robot vacuums, smart speakers, headphones, exercise equipment, eReaders, and more. We looked into the privacy and security of all these products to help you know which products work to protect your privacy and security and which products come with *Privacy Not Included.
Here's a little of what we learned: 46 products on our list earned our *Privacy Not Included warning label, including the Amazon Echo Dot, Peloton Bike, Facebook Portal, and Ecovacs Deebot. 22 products made it onto our Best Of list including Apple's Homepod Mini, iRobot’s Roomba robot vacuums and its Root coding kit for kids, and Garmin's Venu fitness tracker. Home exercise equipment designed to let you work out in the privacy of your own home does anything but that. These products were some of the worst offenders for collecting, sharing, and selling their user's personal information There's so much more in our guide. We've improved the search function and added helpful category tags so you can find the products and information you need easily. And there's our Creep-O-Meter rating, to let you share how creepy you think a product is and see what others think too. As we head into the holiday shopping season, please check out our reviews before you shop. Because no one wants to get something creepy for the holidays!
