Coming up on Morning Edition: Tonight, millions of people will watch an epic basketball matchup: UConn vs. Iowa in the NCAA Women's Final Four. The game pitting record breaker Caitlin Clark against Minnesota's own Paige Bueckers is the biggest thing in sports right now. Here to talk about it is Minnesota Lynx General Manager Clare Duwelius.

The eighth inning was emblematic of the Twins' struggles. With Minnesota down by two runs, Carlos Correa led off with a double. But he remained stuck at second as Scott Barlow struck out Carlos Santana, Manuel Margot and Willi Castro in order to end the threat.
“We, obviously, didn’t get the job done when we had the opportunity,” Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said. “We put ourselves in pretty good spots. Punchouts do hurt you with runners in scoring position. At least giving yourself a shot and putting it in play is probably a better scenario for us.” | |

With some ambulance services in greater Minnesota facing severe financial pressures, the Legislature is considering a rescue package for rural EMS providers. How much and in what form are the driving questions in the Capitol debate.
“I think a lot of people don’t understand they’re at risk for being an ambulance desert,” Dodge Center emergency medical technician Brooke Yennie said. “It’s when those true emergencies have happened — like cardiac arrest or your child is choking — that you need an ambulance. And you would want one that’s obviously within 10, maybe five minutes.” | |

Two of college basketball’s biggest stars will face off when Iowa and Caitlin Clark meet UConn and Paige Bueckers in the Final Four.
Clark is a two-time National Player of the Year trying to guide the Hawkeyes to their first NCAA championship. Bueckers has returned to form this year after dealing with knee injuries that cost her most of two seasons
