| | THERE ARE THREE RESPRO® FILTER TYPES |
|
T1. DAAC Filter - Respro® City Filter T2. Hepa-Type Filter - Respro® Sports Filter T3. Combination Filter (DAAC + Hepa-Type) - Respro® Cinqro⢠Urban Filter and the Respro® Techno⢠Filter The Hepa-Type sports filter (T2) is a sub-micron filter and is replaced based on discolouration. The particulates already trapped there, will increase your inhalation resistance once the filter is saturated and dark in colour. If the inhalation resistance is not a problem (i.e. the filter is not discoloured), then there's no need to replace the filter but a rigorous hygiene practice is always required to keep the filter hygienically clean. For more information, see our FAQs on How to keep your filter clean and How to use the Respro® Sanitiser video tutorial on YouTube. The Cinqro Urban 'Combination' Filter (T1 & T2 = T3) is a combined DAAC + Hepa-Type filter and is replaced and based on the characteristics of the active urban cyclist. If you are using the mask for another activity it still applies, but your breathing rate and activity would change the lifespan of the filter to a proportionally shorter or longer time. If your breathing rate is half that of a cyclist then the effectiveness of the filter would be twice as long. For cycle commuting on a daily basis, we recommend that the filter should be replaced every month or every 69 hours, whichever is sooner. PLEASE NOTE: All our filters are interchangeable, provided they are the same size as your mask. i.e. Large mask fits large filter |
