If there is one thing that stands out at a Big Thief concert, it is that no matter how big the stage, Adrianne Lenker, Buck Meek, Max Oleartchik and James Krivchenia always stand very close together, almost brushing against each other at times, as if they didn't want to let the energy concentrated in their virtuous circle escape. It happened at the last edition of Primavera Sound Barcelona; it has happened every time we have had them in front of us. The energy generated in that circle is sometimes more rock and sometimes more folk, but what never changes is the sensation of being in the presence of a unique band in which none of its members can be replaced because then everything would change. In times of individualism, Big Thief are a miracle. The band returns: on April 26th they will perform in Barcelona and on April 28th in Madrid.
