Perched on the Mont-Blanc to 6725 feet above sea level, with a view overlooking the Mer de Glace and mythical Aiguille des Drus, the Montenvers Refuge is a place of history and authenticity. Built in 1880 to accommodate the first mountaineers and travelers who came to visit the Mer de Glace, the Grand Hôtel du Montenvers will reopen its doors in July 2017 under the new concept Terminal Neige. Renovated by the label Maisons et Hôtels Sibuet, it will continue the Montenvers legend and will keep the soul of a refuge and its value of sharing, authenticity and homecoming.
