Sore loser: Armed man loses arm wrestling contest

Everybody runs into a sore loser at some point in their life. If you’re a video gamer, you probably remember a friend who would throw controllers and yell when you beat them in Mario Kart. Or maybe you play poker and had an acquaintance who would loudly complain when his bluff was called. But no matter how bad their tantrums were, they’ve got nothing on this Kentucky father who challenged his son to an arm-wrestling match.

The 55-year-old had been drinking prior and challenged his son to a friendly test of strength. When his son managed to beat him enough times, things quickly went south. In a fit of rage, the man whipped out a pistol and shot twice into the ceiling of their home. Thankfully, nobody was injured and the man surrendered peacefully to police after bunkering-down in the living room for eight hours. That said, we think the man’s son will want to keep dad at “arm’s length” until he cools off. It’s mind-boggling to think that a literal Disney villain is a better sport about losing an arm-wrestling match.
