Support UBIE youth in Strasbourg!

Dear friends!

Unconditional Basic Income Europe has put together a great delegation to the European Parliament's European Youth Event this June in Strasbourg. 20 people from 10 different countries are ready to carry our vision to MEPs and 5000 other delegates from all over Europe. They will also participate in a roundtable discussion 'Basic Income: the Return of Robin Hood?'

Find out more about who's going and what they want to do by clicking here. You can also participate by sharing your ideas about basic income here.

They need your support - if you can, please give generously here, or you can boost their chances by participating in their Thunderclap on Facebook and Twitter by 10 May!

Below you can find out what happened during our meeting in Gothenburg, and our new board.

Yours unconditionally,

The Board of Unconditional Basic Income Europe:
Harald Enoksson, Dániel Fehér, Hilde Latour, Leire Rincón & Ulrich Schachtschneider

UBIE elects new board

At our March meeting in Gothenburg, Sweden, UBIE voted in a new board - you find out more about them here. The previous days included a barnstorming speech by Guy Standing, and a brilliant day of workshops on cryptocurrencies, feminism and basic income, and much more! We did not come to a conclusion about doing another European Citizens Initiative on Basic Income at the meeting, but decided to devote a weekend to this discussion later in the year. More about this soon!

October 2018 - Basic Income and the Euro-Dividend as Sociopolitical Pillars of the EU and its Member Countries

Support UBIE now!

UBIE relies entirely on volunteers, but we need to pay for our website, newsletter and other forms of communication. We also need to subsidise the travel of activists to our meetings and other events, to make sure we represent UBI movements throughout Europe. Please give what you can!
