TOP OF THE AGENDA | Ukraine war expected to dominate Munich meeting of world leaders |

Credit: EPA | After almost three years of Russia's war in Ukraine, a possible peace deal is at the forefront of minds as world leaders gather in Munich for the annual security conference. There, Ukrainian President Zelensky will meet with the US vice president and secretary of state, where he's expected to encourage America to keep the beleaguered nation's best interests in mind in negotiations with Russia - discussions Zelensky wants his country to play a key role in. Ahead of the conference, US President Donald Trump had said US, Russian and Ukrainian officials would meet, but security correspondent Frank Gardner reports that there's "no Russian delegation" there. A senior Ukrainian official also said talks were not expected. |
