Monday
2 Corinthians 9:3
I am sending brothers just to be sure they really are ready, as I told them they must be, with their money all collected. I don’t want it to turn out that I was wrong in my boasting about You.
Tuesday
2 Corinthians 9:4
I would be humiliated--and so would You--if some brothers came with me only to find that You aren’t ready after all I had told them!
Wednesday
2 Corinthians 9:5
So I thought I should send these brothers ahead of me to make sure the gift You promised is ready. But I want it to be a willing gift, not one given under pressure.
Thursday
2 Corinthians 9:6
I remember this--a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get only a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.
Friday
2 Corinthians 9:7
I must make up my own mind as to how much I should give. I don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For You love the person who gives cheerfully.
