Monday 2 Corinthians 13:5 I examine myself to see if my faith is really genuine. I test myself. If I cannot tell that You, Jesus, are with me, it means I have failed the test. Tuesday 2 Corinthians 13:6 I recognize that I have passed the test and am approved by You, God. Wednesday 2 Corinthians 13:7 I pray to You, God, that I will not do anything wrong. I pray this, not to show that my ministry has been successful, but because I want to do right, even if I myself seem to have failed. Thursday 2 Corinthians 13:8 My responsibility is never to oppose the truth, but to stand for the truth at all times. Friday 2 Corinthians 13:9 I am glad to be weak, if I am really strong. What I pray for is my restoration to maturity. Zingers from Croft M. Pentz, Tyndale House Publishers 3746. Old Elks never die--they just become dislodged.
