Aware has called in PwC and LAWD to sell its Lake Boga agribusiness portfolio, which includes Victoria’s biggest field tomato business, a plum orchard, irrigated certified organic land and a heap of water rights.
The portfolio’s expected to attract interest from local and offshore financial investors, including Roc Capital, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Macquarie’s MIRA and even water rights players.
The superannuation bigwig has called time on its big land and farming business in the Goulburn Murray Irrigation District and hired PwC to help find a buyer.
Set to list on Thursday, Australian Ethical, Ellerston (via its ethical equities fund) and Nathan Parkin’s Ethical Partners are cornerstoning Rubicon’s raise.
