Hey, there. I was talking to a friend the other day, and he was telling me about how he made a significant shift in his nutrition and fitness routine sometime in his mid-thirties. He's now in his mid-fifties. Got me thinking about when I made big changes. Whether there were turning points in my nutritional habits. Sure, I had my big "aha" moment when I realized that lots of carbs and grains were slowing me down, and a more ancestral way of life made me feel more like myself. Other than that, the only other time I made sweeping changes was...always. Throughout my life, I’ve collected ideas for self-experimentation by reading studies and listening to others talk about their choices. All of it together has—and continues to—inform the routine I follow to live the life I want. A while back, my daily Big Ass Salads were a mainstay. That worked well, and I still enjoy them often. Now, I'm digging into the benefits of higher protein and that's been working for me. I get questions about my supplements regimen, so I'm sharing what I took a few years ago, what's changed, and why. Here's a video on my supplements routine from a few years ago. |
