Pushing for Regulatory Clarity in Digital Asset Market Structure Legislation This week, I called on my colleagues to advance digital asset market structure legislation that provides regulatory clarity for the industry. The Biden administration’s regulation-by-enforcement approach pushed innovation offshore and created a legal minefield for entrepreneurs. I also highlighted the need for legislation that clearly defines which tokens are securities, supports modern trading infrastructure, ensures appropriate protections against illicit finance are in place, and protects investors while fostering innovation. Modernizing How Americans Receive Hospital-Level Care In an effort to allow thousands of Americans to safely receive hospital-level care in the comfort of their homes, I introduced the Hospital Inpatient Services Modernization Act, which would extend the Acute Hospital at Home Waiver program and modernize how Americans receive hospital-level care.
