Microsoft apps for Mac at risk of code injection attacks | Affected apps include Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and more | Cybersecurity firm Cisco Talos says it has identified vulnerabilities in Microsoft applications for the macOS operating system, Computer Weekly reported. The company warned that an adversary could exploit the flaws by injecting malicious libraries into the applications to gain their entitlements and user-granted permissions, potentially giving access to tools such as the microphone, camera, folders, and screen recording.
