Australia's peak telecommunications consumer body, the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network, says proposed new rules designed to improve telco complaint handling will ensure that the regulator has better tools to ensure practices of telco providers improve. The London-based global consumer activist group, Consumers International, has called for access to fair and secure internet for all, action against scams and fraud, and better consumer protection online.
