Painting Decorative Indoor/Outdoor Signs
By Ana
I found these very nice metal/tin signs to upscale for my home and outdoor garden. I looked at the decorated metal signs, that are to pricey for my taste. So here is my take on a decorative spin on them.

Paper Plate Aquarium Toddler Craft
By 15mhhm15
My daughter insists that we should have pet fishes, but we're not quite ready for a fish tank, so this paper aquarium will do! She had a fun time making this and this would make a nice indoor craft/activity to do. Afterwards, you can hang this up on the wall and it'll be a paper aquarium instead.

Flexible Cutting Mat as Drawing Board
By Robyn
I found this flexible cutting and chopping mat at Food City. I bought it for use as a dry erase board or marker board. Dry erase or color markers show up well and come off right away with a wet cloth or baby wipes.

I thoroughly enjoy decorating for every holiday, but I hardly have money for expensive items. And this year, my employer is having me decorate the break room as well! I decided to decorate the fridge door and to incorporate every associate into the St. Patrick's Day theme. Making pots of gold was the easiest choice and turned out absolutely adorable.

At the end of every rainbow is a pot of gold. The leprechaun left its powerful green hat that saves him from traps. It's caught in a trap and the princess was able to slide herself down the long rainbow. She fell into a pot of gold under thick clouds at the end of the rainbow where the leprechaun's hat was left.

This is a fun card to make using just card stock and a heart-shaped paper punch. There is just one four-leaf clover, making it (and the card recipient) one of a kind!

Christmas is a time for sharing small gifts with family, friends and neighbors. It is a time to spread some cheer and good will. Turn an old cardboard box into a glamorous box. Fill it with a thoughtful gift, such as chocolates or a homemade jar of jam.

Recycled Cork Thread Dispenser and a Candle Holder
By Sandi/Poor But Proud
If you enjoyed the trivet and the coaster, I am happy. Here is day 3 and 4 of my 4 day post. This one is a bit unique and not for everyone. As someone who sews, you might like it though. The candle holder is cute too, but I wish I could have found a smaller candle.

I recently took a class to learn this fun, new to me, method of paper piecing. The project quickly became addictive. I have done foundation style paper piecing in the past and love the ability to work with smaller pieces to create the block, but you are still saddled to your sewing machine.

Clear Hook for Hanging a Wreath
By lalala...
I prefer to hang my holiday wreaths on the inside of our front door. The door has a large window in the middle. I don't like the look of the over the door hangers so I decided to attach a clear Command Hook (holds 3 lbs.) to the glass. Now I can hang my wreaths and the hook is practically invisible.

This is a fun and thrifty piggy bank to make out of Popsicle sticks, glue, and a plastic jar. You can use the rainbow as a chute to drop your coins into your pot of gold. It will be fun to save, and easy to twist open when it's full!

Acrylic Paint Palettes from Children's Frisbees
By Robyn
I found these adorable little frisbees which were in the Easter Basket section of Walmart. They are so adorable and make great paint palettes. I was going to put one in an Easter basket but changed my mind. They would also make great saucers for potted plants to sit in, as well.

Making Half Square Triangle Quilt Blocks
By R Barbara
The half square triangle (HST) is a very common component of patchwork quilts. These blocks consist of two right triangles. Because of the stretchy nature of fabric cut on the bias, it may be preferable to make your half squares in the following way, rather than cutting out triangles and sewing them together.

Create a shamrock from a 12-inch piece of ribbon that is at least 1/4 inch wide. I found that the wider the ribbon, the easier it was to create. Now you have no excuse for not wearing green on St. Patty's Day!!
